My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and we have always had a pretty good sex life. Throughout our marriage he has always denied liking porn and even when I tried to get him to watch it with me to spice up our sex life he acted like only people of low character watched it. In our later years I wanted to try new and exciting things in our sex life and he sort of acted like he didn’t want to do all that so I backed off. Over the last year our sex life has dropped off significantly and he says it is because one of his medications lowers his sex drive and due to all the extra stress we are experiencing this year he says it just makes it worse. I ask him for sex a few times a month and when he keeps turning me down I feel embarrassed to keep being turned down and I just quit asking. Just last week I was checking his email for a specific email we were both expecting and he knew I was looking in his emails and I found he had signed up for 4 or 5 online dating/affair sites and made profiles. He never paid for any of them and he never had any conversations or interactions on them that I could see but some of the information he put in the profiles really hurt me. He said he had been married 20 years since he was a youth and had never had a chance to ‘sample” whats out there. He said he wanted a discreet affair with a woman who was wild and open in bed. He even described how he wanted this girl to look. When I brought these sites to his attention he got angry and told me he only signed up because he was curious what kind of girls respond to these sites. When I pursued the fact that it must have a deeper meaning he was adamant that I was trying to make something out of it then what it was. I just can’t understand why he is saying he wants what I have been trying to give him but he acts like he doesn’t want. Then I looked in the history of his computer and he had occasionally been going to porn sites and when I used to see these on the computer he blamed it on our teenage boys but our boys have had their own laptops for the last year. When I ask him about the porn he tried to downplay it and when I showed him his history he got angry and said he is a grown man and can look at it if he wants to. That shocked me because I don’t care if he looks at it, in fact I have tried to get him to watch it with me-but why lie to me about it? What is going on with him? I just left it all alone for the last two days and have tried to just be nice to him and last night we ended up making love at his urging. I am just so confused! Any ideas what is going on with him and how I should respond?

I tried Relationships.com, but there have got to be others. Ones like Match and True– there are so many atheists and agnostics there. That’s so hip nowadays. Thanks for your help!

What is the best online dating site.

I wated to know which of the onlie dating site are most effective to find someone.

Does anyone know of any good Online Dating sites that are literally 100 percent free, like you can send messages and read messages for free, you don’t have to use a Credit Card, I mean seriously, free, not even a penny. Like what are the Online Dating sites that have a good reputation and have a lost of users on it, and they are totally free, period.

I would say most of my dates (80-90%) come from online dating sites since it is more convenient (although I do not want to be dependent on it). However, some sites are riddled with spammers, so it definitely has it’s faults.

The traditional way of meeting people (face to face at parties, etc.) is still probably preferred.

What is your take on this? Which method do you prefer and what proportion of your dates come from online sites?

OK so I’ve used quite a few online dating sites with no success. I’m lonely and haven’t been on a date for quite some time now. I’ve been trying to hook up with women online but I never get a response from the women I send out messages to on the internet dating sites. I’m beginning to think the whole internet dating thing is a scam and actually doesn’t work. So has anyone used any dating website that has actually yielded good results for them? Thanks.
