@cyberdating If their mistake from years ago was being a serial killer or a rapist don’t think it would be a good idea to date without a background check to find that out. Some minor problems from years ago can be ignored but some people have major problems that don’t go away.
Cyber Dating is like meeting a new mate in the real world. Once you get acquainted and you see that you have chemistry, then you can inquire into his/her background. I’d hate to miss out on a great relationship because of someone’s mistakes from years ago.

I can see why it’s needed. A person could be a felon or pervert. At the same time, there’s just really no point in lying at all because you’ll end up meeting this person in person some time.
